1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RegBite ("the Service"), operated by RegBite Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RegBite is an AI-powered compliance assistance platform that checks product labels against Indian regulatory frameworks including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and AYUSH regulations. The Service includes label scanning, compliance analysis, regulation tracking, and reporting features.

3. Not Legal Advice

RegBite is a compliance assistance tool and does not constitute legal advice. Compliance results are generated by automated systems and AI models, which may contain inaccuracies. You should always consult qualified regulatory affairs professionals before making final labelling decisions. We do not guarantee that products passing our checks are fully compliant with all applicable regulations.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Upload malicious files or content
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Exceed the usage limits of your subscription plan
• Resell or redistribute compliance reports without authorization

6. Subscription Plans & Billing

Free accounts are subject to usage limits. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Razorpay. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is owned by RegBite Technologies. Your product data and uploaded labels remain your property. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RegBite Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to regulatory penalties, product recalls, or lost revenue resulting from reliance on our compliance results.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
